This Broomfield Real Estate Market Snapshot takes a look at the real estate market in Broomfield for January 2019. The data from last month shows significant activity as we began the new year. Additionally, the data from last month compared to January 2018 shows the Broomfield real estate market is stable with average price per square foot numbers similar from 2018 to 2019.
Broomfield Real Estate Market At A Glance
When we compare the total number of sold properties from January 2018 to January 2019, we see a decrease in sold properties by 9.2%. This may seem at first glance like a large decrease. In fact, this is only a decrease of 6 total properties for the month and should not raise any red flags for the Broomfield market.
The most interesting stats are found in the Sold and For Sale data in the different price tiers in Broomfield. January saw 3 homes sell for under $300,000. This does not seem like a trend that will continue however, as there are currently no homes listed in this price tier.
The price tier with the most sold properties was the next price tier; homes sold between $300,000 and $500,000. This is not surprising as homes in this range are the new norm for first time homebuyers in Broomfield.
The price tier with the most homes currently for sale can be found in the $500,000 to $750,000 price range. This includes many of Broomfield’s most sought after neighborhoods.
