At our recent office awards meeting I was pleasantly surprised when I was awarded our offices Rookie of the Year Award.
This blog post is not about personal accolades, however. Instead it is about thanking each and every one of my clients over the past year that helped me achieve this award. I went into the year with high expectations and lofty goals. Fortunately with the help of my amazing clients I was able to reach nearly all of them.
Additionally, I was able to make positive change in our office. At the beginning of 2018 I began focusing on video production and educational videos that I would film in front of a green screen in my basement. After several successful videos our office manager decided that a video room was something our office could benefit from. Shortly thereafter, the new office green screen arrived and I was tasked with setting it up and teaching my fellow agents how to shoot and edit their own real estate videos.
With the help, expertise and knowledge they had so graciously offered me as a brand new agent I was obviously excited to give back to them in whatever way I could. I gave classes and answered as many questions as possible.
I believe that my willingness to share the things I have learned in my video production, along with the clients I was able to help throughout the year is what made me the Rookie of the Year for 2019.
