Broomfield Commons Dog Park- Broomfield
The Broomfield Commons Dog Park is located near the Broomfield Commons and features:
- Natural shade from trees
- Seasonal drinking water (for dogs only)
- Shade structures
- Natural features including rocks, stumps, etc
- Seating
- Agility/obstacle features
Westminster Hills Off-Leash Dog Park- Westminster
This 420-acre site is very popular, attracting dog lovers from all over the north metro area. The area is partially fenced, so it is important that dogs are under voice command. The size of the park allows dogs to run, fetch and play. Park features include:
- Two parking lots: located at 10499 Simms St. and 11610 W. 100th Ave.
- Partially fenced
- Dog drinking fountain
- Benches
- Shade shelter
- Porta Potties
Great Bark Dog Park– Lafayette
The 6.1 acres Great Bark Dog Park is the only public park where dogs are allowed to run off-leash.
Amenities at the dog park include:
- A 1/3 mile looping trail
- Covered benches
- Restrooms
- A small/timid dog area
- Logs for dogs to jump on and over.
As of 2019 the dog park also features a dog waste composting program in conjunction with Lafayette’s Waste Reduction Advisory Committee. More information about the composting program can be found here Dog Waste Composting Program
The Boneyard at Reliance Park- Erie
The Boneyard at Reliance park is located at 900 Weld County Road 1.5 in Erie, Colorado and is open daily sunrise to sunset. The Boneyard will be closed for maintenance on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Closures are weather dependent and are subject to change at the discretion of staff.
