What’s Happening In Anthem Highlands | June 2019

For many families in the neighborhood school is about to end for Summer and many kids will find themselves participating in the many activities and events Anthem has to offer in the Summer. With the pool officially opening this weekend now is a great time to take a look at the events and activities happening in Anthem Highlands in June.

Talk With A Doc | Concussions In Sports- Saturday, June 1st | 8:30-9:30am

Please join St. Anthony North Health Campus for a free breakfast and a talk with the Doc! Let Dr. Lauren Middleton talk to you about the symptoms, treatments and risks of concussion in sports. Breakfast and beverages will be provided!

Food Truck Night- Tuesday, June 4th | 6-8pm

Looking for a quick weeknight dinner for the family? Stop by the PCC parking long on one of our Food Truck Nights to join your neighbors and friends for a quick bite! Food trucks will be announced closer to the event so be on the lookout.

Summer Splash Bash- Thursday, June 6th | 5:30-8pm

The pool is open for summer and what better way to celebrate than with a pool party! Dip your toes in the pool, enjoy music and poolside games, while grabbing a bite to eat. Not to mention, Kona Ice Food Truck & Sweet Cow Moo Mobile will be onsite serving up some tasty sweet treats! Don’t forget to preorder your dinner during registration because prices will increase day of sales! No refunds on meals. FREE event to attend.

PLEASE REGISTER EACH INDIVIDUAL MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY WHO WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE.

Meals:
$3.50 for pre-ordered hot dog/hamburger meal
$5 day of for meal (first come-first serve)

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga At The Pool- Fridays | 8-9:30am

June 14th, June 28th, July 12th, July 24th

Join us for an on-water yoga class at the PCC pool! Let your instructor guide you through a gentle, yet challenging flow atop a stable paddleboard. Although SUP Yoga classes are all levels, your instructor will cover the basics and the keys to accessing yoga postures on the water for the full range of beginners to advanced. Enjoy your practice while adapting to the motion of the board, there will also be an optional opportunity to play with inversions. Embrace the challenge of this floating class and test your balance, falling in is half the fun. All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Thank you for understanding.

Ages: 8+ *Ages 8-12 we encourage adult supervision.

Backyard Crawfish Boil- Thursday, June 20th | 6-8:30pm

Join your neighbors and friends at the PCC for a New Orleans’ style crawfish boil! Colorado Claw and Tail will provide the boil which includes crawfish, andouille sausage, corn, and potatoes as well as teach everyone the ins and outs of a traditional boil. Featuring a photo op and yard games there is something for everyone to enjoy! This event is BYOB so bring along any alcoholic beverages you’d like! Colorado Claw & Tail suggests light beers such as blondes or ales. Non-alcoholic drinks will be served. All tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Thank you for understanding.
