It’s Farmers Market Season: A Local Guide

The weather has finally improved for all of us that live in the Broomfield area. That means it’s time to get outside and enjoy all the things Colorado has to offer. A great part of that is the Broomfield Farmers Market each Tuesday night from 4pm-7pm now through the last Tuesday in September.

Each week the Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, located at 1700 W. 10th Ave. transforms into an outdoor market that includes food as well as live music. This marks the ninth year for the Broomfield Farmers Market and sees between 700 and 1,200 people each week, depending on weather and time of year.

This year’s line-up of vendors includes four produce farms, locally-raised natural meat and poultry, breads and other baked goods, a knife sharpener, honey, mushrooms, and a chili roaster.
